Description

Beautiful road immersed in greenery that climbs from the highway and, in a little less than half an hour, will take you to the Mirador Astronomino de los Pinos de Galdàr at over 1500 metres of altitude. Although short, it offers almost the best of the island: good asphalt, a really fun route, often in the shade of trees, a truly charming town, Moya, and suggestive views along the whole route and breathtaking ones once you reach the Mirador Astronomino de los Pinos de Galdàr. Ideal for hot summer days thanks to the nearly continuous shade. It's one of my favourite roads and I always try to drive it uphill, from the highway towards the mountains. However, driven downhill it offers truly fantastic views, with the sight often opening all the way to the ocean.
