Description

It competes with the GC-200 for the title of "Most beautiful road in Gran Canaria." Very long, almost an hour and a half, it connects Maspalomas to the center of the island. Very good asphalt, some very smooth stretches and others winding. Along the way, there are many miradores and towns to visit, particularly San Bartolomé de Tirajana. The final part of the road winds around Roque Nublo, allowing you to see it from every direction while at the same time opening up the view of Tenerife. Looking towards Tenerife, this road has my favorite "piece of asphalt" on the whole island, which I call "The picture of Tenerife." An interesting fact: the road is very long and, despite climbing up to the center of the island, it remains fairly flat. If you are looking for a victim to descend into evil on your itinerary, this could be an excellent candidate.
